Pork chill

  • 3 smoked pork legs
  • 1 kg fresh pork neck
  • 2 pieces of onion
  • 3 pieces carrots
  • a head of garlic
  • salt pepper
  • thyme

RECIPE PREPARATION Pork chill:

Bring to the boil after the pork legs have been very well cleaned. Boil for about 15 minutes. Discard the water from them and wash very well again. Boil again together with the neck, carrot, onion and thyme. .Pour the water over them enough to cover them well. Leave it to boil for about 5-6 hours on a very low heat. It is very good to be able to leave them off overnight and so in the morning after they have cooled you can gather all the fat. gathered on top. This time I didn't have the time to drink them. When they are well cooked, remove the meat with a strainer and put it in a bowl to cool. In the remaining juice put salt, pepper and crushed garlic. The meat is arranged in pots and the juice is poured over it, which we pour again through a sieve. Let it cool so that it can set. It can be served in 5 hours since it was put in the cold.


Green beans with baked pork

With this pork and green bean dish, you feel like you're eating. In addition, it is very suitable for a Keto diet. Cheddar cheese, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and sour cream, all organic, will also contribute, each in its own way, to making this dish a feast.


Pork with couscous

In the recipe crisis (yes, because I have so much that I don't know what to choose) yesterday I cooked something easy with what I had in the fridge / pantry, namely some pork with couscous.

  • 700g pork (pulp)
  • 250g cus cus
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 chili powder knife tip
  • salt, pepper, oil

We wash the meat and cut it into larger cubes. We clean the onion, finely chop it and fry it a little in oil. Add the meat and let it cook until the juice left by the meat decreases. When it starts to brown a little, add the sweet paprika and mix.

Fill with water about 2 fingers above the meat and simmer with a lid. When the meat is cooked, season with salt and pepper and add the couscous. We add another 200 ml of water. Be careful, you have to mix quite often because the couscous swells very quickly and can stick to the bottom of the pot. So sit by the stove. If necessary, add more water. When the couscous is cooked, turn off the heat and let it cover for another 10 minutes.

At the end we add a little chili powder.

You can add a few slices of tomatoes and peppers to the pork (after it has started to boil).

In the version with chicken, do the exact same thing, just let the meat boil less, the chicken boils faster :)
