After much experimentation I finally got this smoothie recipe right. Frozen raspberries, strawberries and blackberries, strawberry yogurt and a whole banana are pureed in blender for a delicious drink for 4!

- 280g frozen mixed berries
- 225g strawberry flavoured yoghurt
- 1 banana, sliced
- 235ml milk
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar, or to taste (optional)

- In the container of a blender, combine the mixed berries, strawberry yoghurt, banana, milk and sugar. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

Very good. I used a combination of frozen berries(cranberries, blackberries and strawberries) and used low-fat vanilla yogurt. My kids gulped this down.-21 Nov 2008
Berry good! I used a mix of frozen strawberries and blueberries. I also froze my banana. I didn't have strawberry yogurt, so I subbed non-fat vanilla yogurt and instead of the sugar added a bit of low sugar strawberry preserves. What a thick, frosty treat that's really good and good for you too!-15 Jun 2011
What a perfect, healthy, refreshing snack. Very thick too! Some changes I made:1) Halved the recipe (it was just for me)2) Substituted plain yogurt with no added sugar for the strawberry yogurt3) Substituted 2 packets Splenda for the sugar.If I could have found no sugar added strawberry yogurt I would have used that, but I could only find plain. These easy berry muffins are really easy to make, and as I said, they make a wonderful holiday brunch. The secret to the moistness in these muffins is the sour cream!
Over the years, I’ve found that I almost always love any baked recipe that calls for sour cream!
While my Very Berry Muffins are definitely sweet, they aren’t too sweet, which is a really nice change following a week of Christmas-treat decadence.
Store your leftover muffins in an airtight container—they make a great grab and go breakfast as you head back to school and work!
While I’m a little sad to see the holiday season wind down, I’m so grateful for the time that I’ve had with my family.
I’m also super excited to embark on a new year full of new adventures!

- 2 Cups mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries)
- 1 package cinnamon crumb cake mix, preferably Krusteaz Cinnamon Swirl Crumb Cake & Muffin Mix
- 1 egg
- 1/2 Cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 Cup water
- 1 Teaspoon lemon zest
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Spray one round (or spring-form) 9-inch pan with non-stick spray.
Arrange mixed berries in an even layer in the bottom of the prepared pan.
Sprinkle evenly with half of the cinnamon-topping packet.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, egg, Greek yogurt, water, and lemon zest. Stir until combined.
Spoon half the batter evenly over berries.
Sprinkle remaining cinnamon topping over batter.
Drop remaining batter in small spoonfuls over topping layer and spread to pan edge.
Bake 45–55 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Let cake cool 20–25 minutes before carefully inverting the cake and cooling completely.

Easy Berry Cobbler
Making this easy berry cobbler will have the family wanting more. It&rsquos that good. One thing about this cobbler recipe is that if you want an easy dessert recipe that uses summer fruits, then this is it. The variety of berries with all the juices, then mixed with the crunchy topping, is a delicious dessert everyone will rave over.
Berry Salad Ingredients
The best thing about summer is readily available fresh summer berries are. You can absolutely go pick your own berries at your local farm, but store-bought is perfectly delicious too!
Fruit – Of course, the perfect berry fruit salad is going to be full of all kinds of yummy summer fruits. For this lemon-lime berry salad, you’ll need raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, and lime.
Lemon Curd – Don’t be scared off by the thought of making homemade lemon curd, it’s really very easy! You just need some fresh lemon juice, egg yolks, sugar, and butter.
Berry Salad Dressing – You may be thinking “salad dressing?? On a fruit salad??”. Trust me… this berry salad dressing is perfection and it’s the ultimate compliment to the sweet berries. To make it you’ll just need some lime juice, honey, and lime zest!
Berry Delicious Cake Donuts
Sift the flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon together into a medium bowl.
In a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, add the shortening and the sugar. Mix on slow until the mixture resembles coarse sand. Add the egg and mix on slow until well combined and uniform in color.
Add the potato, a third of the flour mixture and a third of the milk. Mix on slow until just combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Continue adding the flour and milk in intervals. Stop when just combined - trying not to over-mix.
Transfer to a bowl that's been sprayed with cooking spray, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 24 hours.
In a heavy pot or fryer, heat 3 inches of canola oil to 360 degrees.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Pat the dough down to a 1/2-inch thickness. Dust the top with flour. Use a 2 and 1/2 biscuit cutter to cut out the donuts. (Incorporate more flour into the dough if difficult to work with.) Transfer circles to a parchment lined baking sheet and use a 1-inch cutter to cut out the donut holes.
Gather the dough remnants and ball them up. Flatten again to 1/2-inch and cut out additional donuts.
Carefully, slide 2 or 3 donuts into the hot oil. As soon as the donuts float, flip them over using two chopsticks or dull knives. Cook until the underside is lightly browned - about 40 seconds. Flip and cook the other side to golden brown - about 30 seconds.
Transfer completed donuts to stacked paper towel. Be sure the oil is at 360 degrees again before frying another batch. Allow donuts to cool before icing.
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 Tablespoon berry jam
- 1 Tablespoon warm water
- 1 drop food coloring (optional)
Place the powdered sugar, jam and water in bowl large enough to dip the donuts into. Stir until it forms a frosting consistency. Add additional water just a drop at a time until the consistency is like honey. If desired, add a drop of food coloring to accentuate the kind of jam you're using. Dip the tops of each donut into the icing. Let them set for 15 minutes for the icing to firm up.
For the final touch, place a berry in the hole of each donut.
These homemade cake donuts can be any berry flavor that you like depending on the jam you decide to use for the icing.
