Baked pork steak with wine and basil

Wash the meat, slice (as desired), grease with oil and place in a pan, mash the potatoes, peppers and mushrooms and place among the pieces of meat. Cut the garlic into slices and sprinkle over them together with the finely chopped basil.

Leave it in the oven for about 40 minutes, then add the wine and leave it for another 15/20 minutes. It depends on the oven and its temperature.

They can be served with hot polenta and a delicious garlic sauce. Great appetite!
