This cake is well worth making time for!
First of all I prepared the ingredients for the countertop: I separated the eggs, I mixed the egg whites in a bowl with a pinch of salt, then with the sugar and vanilla until a meringue resulted.
I mixed the yolks with the oil in a bowl little by little like mayonnaise, then I added water and I mixed the composition well. I sifted the flour into a bowl.
I poured the liquid yolk composition over the egg white foam and with a wooden spoon I mixed it lightly by wrapping it from the bottom up. I did the same with sifted flour.
At this point, the dough is ready to be placed in the tray lined with baking sheet.
I baked the countertop for 40 minutes at 180 degrees. I took out the worktop and left it on a grill to cool completely, then to cut it easier I cut it vertically in two parts, then I cut it in 3 horizontally each piece. Simple isn't it?
While the countertop was in the oven, I took care of the delicious cream.
I put the flour and sugar (the 8 tablespoons not very full) in a double-bottomed bowl (I used Zeper) and I added little by little the cold milk mixing well so as not to make lumps .... then I let go of the eye of the stove and over low heat, I prepared the cream, taking care to mix it all the time until it thickens so that it doesn't stick.
When the composition became like a ciulama I stopped the fire and put the pot in another bowl with cold water then I cooled the cream. I added lemon juice and peel and I mixed the cream well. At this point I tasted the cream and I added 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar ... of course everyone can do it according to personal taste!
In the meantime I mixed the foam butter. When the cream has cooled (almost completely) I put the spoon by spoon in the buttered butter and mixed it further, then I put the rest in two tranches.
Assembly: Grease each countertop sheet with cream. Because I made the cream in abundance, I covered the whole cake with it.
On top I scraped the lemon peel and gave the cake a cold ... honestly..I don't know if it starts in the morning :)))) although it's a bit late!
Once again dear Gabytule ... miiiiiii thanks !!! I dedicate my heart entirely to you ... you deserve a beautiful friend !!!
