  • 1 cup water (200 gr)

RECIPE PREPARATION Steak in the pan with mushrooms and garlic:

I divided the meat into three pieces each. In a tray I put each piece salted and peppered, I sprinkled with olive oil, wine and I poured a cup of water. I put the tray in the oven at 220 degrees for 10 minutes. When it browned a little, I took out the tray and cut the meat into slices.

I put it back in the oven and left it until it was well tendered. When it was almost ready, I put the mushrooms over the meat, the sliced ​​garlic and the delicate teaspoon. I left it in the oven for another 10 minutes. Enjoy.

Sorry to those who fast. We, at home, don't.
This recipe was made by my mother when she was often stronger, especially with beef muscles, the second option - you will see which one. It's a recipe inspired by Sanda Marin, my parents' culinary bible (I honestly don't know why I can't stand this book, but I have to admit that there's no recipe for not coming out of there) and one of my favorite foods.

Ingredient: approx. 1 kg of beef or pork (I had pork chop), 500 g of tomato sauce for steak, a box of mushrooms or mashed potatoes, green parsley for decoration, salt, pepper, spices, a glass of wine, oil.

So first I washed the meat and portioned it,

I put it in a high tray, I gave salt and spices for pork,

and I added a glass of water, a glass of wine (150-200 ml), 50 ml of oil (depending on the meat, if it is fatter, there is no need to add oil),

then I put foil over the tray and left it on the preheated knife, over medium heat for about 2 hours. 20 minutes before it was ready, I removed the foil so that it browned a little.

In the meantime I made the tomato sauce, as in the recipe in the link (a finely chopped onion and slightly hardened, added tomato paste plus salt and water or juice from the steak, and finally chopped garlic and bay leaves) and from here they resulted two steaks:

1) - I boiled the mushrooms separately then I drained them, I incorporated them in the sauce and I boiled a few more. I served the steak with the tomato and mushroom sauce.

2) - I put the pieces of meat in a pot together with the sauce and I simmered for another 15 minutes, to soften the meat.

In the meantime, I boiled some cleaned potatoes and cut the smaller pieces, from which I made a puree by adding cold milk and a piece of butter.
