  • 300 g soft butter
  • 300 g sugar
  • 360 g flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 60 g cocoa
  • 1 sachet of baking powder

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Zebra check:

We mix the soft butter (at room temperature) with the sugar, until it acquires a fluffy consistency (about 5 minutes). Then we add the eggs one by one, mixing further until homogenous. Gradually add the flour mixed with the baking powder. The composition thus obtained it is divided into 2 equal parts. One part is mixed with cocoa.

We line a tray with baking paper / aluminum foil and oil. We place the composition as follows: we use a spoon for the white dough and a spoon for the brown dough and we place in the middle of the tray a spoon of white composition, a spoon of brown composition, one on top of the other until we finish.

Put the tray in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. After it has cooled, we can glaze it with chocolate or sprinkle powdered sugar on top. Serve simply or with a cup of milk or tea.

  • a pinch of salt

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt (I squeeze a little lemon juice) and when the foam hardens, gradually add the sugar. It is set aside.


Separately mix the yolks with oil and rub well as for mayonnaise. Then put the foam over the egg whites, add more flavors and slowly add the flour, stirring slowly from the bottom up (do not mix quickly or for too long because it will lose its volume). Attention, put only 1 cup of flour and then divide the dough into 2 equal parts. In one part add the rest of the flour and mix a little so that it does not remain lumpy and in the other half add cocoa.

Grease a tray with oil (I had a tray of 30x20cm) put baking paper on the bottom of the tray and grease it with oil (I do this for some time because my baking trays are too thin and it stuck to me tray cake, baking paper & # 8230 ufff!).
